What is STEAM?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math — five key areas that help build a strong foundation for problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. This engaging, hands-on program will encourage our eager young learners to explore, question, and discover through play-based learning experiences designed specifically for early childhood development.
What to Expect:
We are excited to share that every classroom will have a designated day each week to visit our new STEAM Room for one hour. During this time, children will rotate through various interactive learning centers, each focused on a different STEAM component.
Some examples include:
Science: Exploring nature, weather, life cycles, and simple experiments.
Technology: Introductory use of age-appropriate devices and coding games.
Engineering: Building with blocks, designing structures, and testing creations.
Art: Expressing creativity through painting, sculpting and mixed media.
Math: Engaging with counting games, patterns, measurements, and sorting.
This environment will spark curiosity and promote collaboration, creativity, and discovery. The STEAM Room is thoughtfully designed to support developmental milestones while providing fun and meaningful educational experiences. We believe this will be a space where imagination and innovation thrive.
