We want you as parents to feel comfortable and confident about leaving your child(ren) in our care, knowing we will keep them safe and offer opportunities for them to grow and mature. The preschool will provide experiences that will aid in the development of your child’s potential and positive self-worth while recognizing each child’s individual needs.
We welcome any parent looking for a special place for their child and invite you to call and schedule a tour of our facility. Our teachers are fully qualified, loving people who are carefully screened before being hired as a member of our staff.
2-3 YEAR OLDS
Our two-year-olds receive age appropriate care that helps them develop both their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. The children are busy with sensory and experiential play throughout their day as they move between their special fenced-in yard and their classroom interest centers.
Language development is focused on as children are taught to “use their words”. Their teachers help them form good attitudes and increase social and thinking skills. Creativity is emphasized with a wide variety of hands-on sensory experiences which takes place in the classroom and their special yard. Potty training is encouraged at school as we partner with parents to assist them at home.
3-5 YEAR OLDS
Our children develop at their own pace, in a loving and stimulating Christian environment that is appropriate for their skill level. Each child develops pre-kindergarten skills and learns to interact with their classmates.
Through the leadership of loving teachers, the children learn math, reading, and writing skills that will prepare them for success in kindergarten.
To encourage language and pre-reading skills, words are posted around the classrooms and every child has their name on their “cubby”. Children learn math by counting each morning how many boys and girls are in the class and “adding” those numbers to see how many children are in their classroom. All classrooms have indoor and outdoor activity centers where the children experience art, science, drama, pre-math and pre-reading activities.
